Trigun
The good
Vash is a legend in his own time. Tales of him slaying a hundred people at the blink of an eye have people so nervous, there is a $$60,000,000,000 (that's right, sixty billion double dollars) bounty on his head, despite there being no hard-proof of his killing a single person. Word of his arrival proceeds him wherever he goes, though the tales of him have his description so distorted that no one recognizes him as the $$60,000,000,000 man. Unlike the stories, Vash is less of a womanizer and more of a plain pervert. He is fairly clumsy, and it is unclear whether he is talented or just very lucky.
Meryle-She is introduced as an insurance salesperson. In the beginning, she is anoyed at Vash 1: because he claims to be Vash, and she sees this as far-fetched, and 2:because he can be an irritating person. She warms up to him, though, as the series progresses and eventually falls in love with the wanted man.
Millie-One word: Ditz. She is Meryle's partner, (ergo also an insurance lady) but is very trusting. She takes Vash at his word about his true identity from the beginning. Despite her happy-go-lucky additude, she packs a pretty serious gun, and isn't afraid to use it. This is one blonde you don't want to get on the wrong side of.
Nicolas Wolfwood is a preacher-turned-gunslinger. He's quick to the trigger, but only for the right reasons. Despite his hardcore facade of chainsmoking and mistrust, he's really a nice guy. Really.
The Bad
Stan-Although he only appears in one episode, he is a rather nasty person. His past catches up with him in the end, and he stripped of his sherriff status.
Just like stan, he is a "retired" bandit. He hepled take over a town that once thrived, and let it fall back into a dusty mess again. His past catches up with him, and he gets shot for it.
not an important character, but in the first episode he is mistaken for Vash by the insurance ladies. I just thought his retractable giant steel boomerang was intersting, though.
The Strange
| A mysterious feline that averages one brief appearence each episode. Naturally, this cryptic cat has a cult following.
