On the other side she meets InuYasha, the dog-like demon. He claims she smells just like Kikyo, the woman who fifty years ago pinned him against a tree with an arrow when he was allegedly trying to steal the Shikon jewel. Although InuYasha is a demon, he can be controlled by Kagome with the prayer beads he wears but cannot remove. All she has to say is "sit boy," and he's pinned to the ground. Talk about a controlling girl! At first, the two are unwilling to be allies, as Inu Yasha is bent on killing Kagome. Trigun
A western set in the future, Trigun focuses on a legendary outlaw, Vash (A.K.A. Vash the Stampede, The Humanoid Typhoon). On his head is a $$60,000,000,000 reward (no, that is not a typo!) The description of Vash has become warped as it has been passed from person to person, and the stories of him contradict each other. The only consistency is that he womanizes (or tries). Although credited with killing thousands, there is no real record of Vash ever taking a life. In fact, he's not all he's cracked up to be! Vash is actually a wiry guy with blond hair and yellow glasses. He wears a red trench coat, and is actually very clumsy. His "nerdiness" is topped off with his fear of death and unease around blood. When it comes down to crunch time, however, he always seems to get the job done, whether it be accidentally or not. more
