 | Poor Ranma! When his father drags him off on a training mission to the cursed Jyusenkyo springs.
There, he falls into one of the springs, and becomes a the first thing that drown in it: a big-chested red-head!
Whenever cold water is thrown onto him, he becomes, well, her, until he (or she) is exposed to hot water. Confused?
Well, there's more. His father, Genma, has a habit of promising Ranma's hand in marriage to daughters of people who will give him food.
This sets the scene for many quick rivalries and the ensuing fights. |
 | Genma, like his son, falls into the one of the Jyusenkyo springs, but he becomes a panda in could water.
In this state, he must communicate with signs, as it is well known that panda's don't talk.
His stomach is bigger than his mind, though, which causes Ranma some difficulties when Genma promises him to people's daughter for sake of food. |
 | Akane and Ranma are the a great couple, once they stop fighting.
They are betrothed to each other and both appear rather annoyed at the fix-up, but they learn to love each other none the less.
Their relationship is complexified by the fact the Akane is a real butch, and Ranma turns into a girl. |
