 | Ash is excited that he finally gets to become a Pokémon trainer.
He gets his first one, a Pikachu, from Professor Oak.
Pikachu is too strong, though, and doesn't want to listen to Ash in the beginning.
It takes time for them to grow together, but once they do their bond is unbreakable. |
 | Misty makes the bad decision of lending her bike to Ash, trusting that he'll return it.
The bike is destroyed, and Misty starts following him until he can buy her a new one.
That never happens, but they become friends after a short while, and venture off together. |
 | Team Rocket's two least successful Pokémon theives are Jesse and James.
After they see that Ash's Pikachu is a little stronger than the average 'chu, they set their hearts on stealing it.
Team Rocket never gives up, and they are always "Blasting off again!" |

 | Pikachu doesn't immediatly take to Ash.
He wants to do his own thing until Ash finally shows a little resonsibility by getting him to a Pokémon center before he fails to injury.
They forge a bond, though, and become inseperable. |
 | Cubone is a ground type Pokémon, and a bit stubborn.
His sad past makes him a bit leery of befriending anyone or helping.
He isn't very trusting, but still has a good heart. |
 | Meowth is Team Rocket's Pokémon sidekick.
He has no trainer, and unlike all other Meowths, can't use the technique "Pay Day." |
