 | Motosuwa Hideki bombs his college entrance exams.
He moves to Tokyo where he enlists in prep school.
He notices that nearly everyone has a persocom, but can't afford one himself.
Either by luck or fate, he finds one in a trash can. |
 | Chii is Motosuwa Hideki's persocom.
When first booted, she can only say, "chii," and thus was named such.
Chii at first only imitates movements, but soon begins to learn and become her own.
Could Chii be more than a simple persocom? |
 | At the prep school, Yumi is Hideki's teacher.
She has qualms about persocoms because of a dark experience in her past.
Yumi also makes it a habit to show up at her students' apartments unannounced. |
 | Sumomo is the persocom of Hideki's friend.
Somehow, Hideki seems to get stuck with her often, and she is very irritating. and loud. and just plain annoying. |
